Black Out

I am afraid of the dark and nighttime silence scares me. i would stay up until sunrise if i ever heard any faint other-dimension sound. At night, i usually sleep with the lights, the (m)TV or radio turned on. All night. 99% of the time.

If i want to keep things that way (and i do, and i deserve peaceful and secured sleeptime), i think ill have to voluntarily up my rent. not that the landlady has hinted at it. Just that my rent fee includes electricity (and other freebies) and the Energy Regulatory Commission has granted Napocor a 98 centavo per KWH. It may still increase a little more until NPC gets the P1.87 it demands. Hmmp! Brat!

It's unfair! Not only are we paying for electricity we use, we are made to pay that electricity that's neither used nor produced! Consumers should not be made to bear any more additional burden from the flawed decisions of the government and of its onerous transactions with the private sector. Grrr....
