see you at the movies

roaming around the cinemas to look for the right queue when suddenly i heard my name called out. turned around to see a charming, smiling face of somebody i used to date a few times. "worse", he made beso, (kissed my cheek) and told me he was with his family, it being Sunday-family day. He asked what we were gonna watch and i was dumbfounded for 3 seconds. then i stuttered, stammered. It looked like he had all the time in the world to chitchat and i panicked. i smiled and waved goodbye.

Actually, he's not such a significant person in my recent past life. There are no passionate pain or pleasure to consider. We went out because we knew each other in College, but we just didn't connect. There's another reason but really it's secondary and it wouldn't matter so much if one has learned to love the other, but that's not the case, and so. hehe. Maybe i haven't dated enough people (wahahaha!) but i really really felt funny meeting an ex-date on a Sunday afternoon and take time to be friendly. (even when we did decide to stop dating but remain "friends") VV thought he really was being chatty, to think that two out three times we dated, we mostly argued.

that was nice, actually. awkward but nice. :-)
i agree too, V, he looked much better ;-)

caught the sandalang bahay cinemaone film. well done! you'll feel tortured with unexpressed heartbreak all throughout but i made it out of the moviehouse with my heart intact, whole enough to feel sorry for the sulking cabdriver who naively tried to fight off mercury's retro-actives (see pansy's version) :-D
